This drink is obtained by three methods: 1- extracting orange fruit (usually fresh). 2- Drying and then soaking the dried orange. 3- Concentrating orange juice and subsequently adding water and preparing fruit juice. Today, the term orange juice is colloquially and commercially referred to as concentrated orange juice, which is also sold as concentrated syrup. Orange juice is rich in fiber, especially if it is consumed with the pulp or flesh of the fruit. The colder the orange juice is and stored in the refrigerator, the more its vitamin C will be preserved. Invertol, pectin, lignin, growth hormones, essential oils, peroxidase enzymes, minerals including: sodium 3 mg, magnesium 12 mg, phosphorus 22 mg, sulfur 10 mg, chlorine 3 mg, potassium 187 mg, calcium 43 mg. gram, manganese 0.05 mg, copper 0.04 mg and zinc 0.17 mg. The latest scientific research has shown the effectiveness of orange juice in preventing several types of cancer. Orange has a substance called d-limonene, which has received little attention from scientists, but recent research has shown that this substance has positive capabilities in fighting skin, breast, mouth, colon, and lung cancer. Even other researches have shown that the consumption of orange juice reduces the risk of liver, larynx and stomach cancers. The vitamin C present in oranges and the high level of antioxidants in it helps to make D-limonene more effective.
